Will Google Chrome's speed displace Firefox? Not so fast

I came across this article on Cnet today. At least for me speed is not the only thing. I use Firefox exclusively (at home and at work too). I like Firefox because of all its features and all the add-ons I get with it. Firefox has such a huge collection of add-ons.

Some of them have become integral part of my day-to-day internet browsing experience. I can't think of browsing on my home or work machine without having Adblock Plus or FoxMarks (Xmarks). Then there are NoScript and Greasemonkey (with it's own set of scripts for customizing websites etc.) that are powerful additions to Firefox. If I can't get equivalent functionality in any other browser then no matter how fast it is, I'll stick with Firefox. Thank you!

Chrome is a shiny new thing, but will it replace Firefox? I don't think so. At least not in near future. Link to original article: Will Google Chrome's speed displace Firefox? | The Open Road - CNET News
